THE SUBJECT:
A quartet of highschool girls caught in glorious light on their way home late on a winter’s afternoon.
THE LOCATION:
Photographed from the veranda of the old Créma Espresso Bar, (the greatest little caffeine oasis in Port Macquarie).
The girls were on the Town Green on the south bank of the Hastings River.
THE MAKING of ‘Skoolgurlz’:
It is a pure candid shot made on the fly, taking full advantage of the beautiful golden winter sunlight that washes over the whole area on days like this.
Fuji S9600: 1/500sec @ f/4.9, Auto Focus, Hand held with elbows on table.
Lightroom 1.1 & Photoshop CS3.
