It is my utmost pleasure to introduce you all to my pride and joy, my blood red rose that thrives on neglect in my front garden.
It is my first and so far only rose in my collection on Red Bubble.

THE MAKING of ‘Light Hearted’:
Photographed on a very overcast spring day, the conditions brought out the full richness of the colour, the wonderful inner glow and the great contrast within the flower.
Fuji S9600: RAW, f/3.6 @ 1/600sec, ISO80, Manual focus, Tripod, Timer.
